Wimco (the West Indies Management Company), founded in 1983, is a travel services, marketing and reservations company specializing in villa and hotel reservations in the Caribbean and Europe. We represent over 1,400 luxury villas on the islands of St. Barthelemy, St. Martin, Barbados, Anguilla, Grand Cayman, Mustique, Nevis, the Virgin Islands and others, and in Europe. We also represent and book a selection of prestigious independent hotels in these destinations.

Wimco distinguishes itself through a commitment to product knowledge and concierge service. Our office in Newport, RI houses our US operations (marketing, reservations, IT and finance). On the island of St Barts, our local affiliate WimcoSBH represents over 240 private villas, and provides round the clock concierge service to our clients. WimcoSBH also has a real estate sales operation.

The primary mission is for a knowledgeable staff to give amazing customer service, present accurate information and provide our clients the vacation they desire in comfortable villas and hotels in the destinations we represent.

Marketing & Sales Internship Opportunity

Wimco is looking for web savvy college students who are interested in gaining real world business experience in a sales and marketing operation. There are a wide spectrum of projects available to work on, ranging from sales support to social network marketing. College credit available, work hours are flexible.
