Each town in the region has a brief description and places of gastronomic interest including restaurants, vineyards, and bakeries. There are also details concerning museums, bookstores, and shops relating to Italian cooking. If you are unfamiliar with Italian terminology, there is a very helpful glossary at the back of the book to help you work through the terms. Spread throughout the book, are recipes of favorite Italian dishes so that you can prepare some of these fantastic dishes right in your own kitchen.
