Fresh Air and Arias with Wimco at the Puccini Opera Festival

LONDON, ENGLAND, June 2004: For opera-lovers, Madame Butterfly, Turandot and Tosca are on the bill at this year’s world famous Puccini Festival (23 July to 21 August) which takes place on an open-air stage at Torre del Lago, outside Lucca and just a stone’s throw from the Villa Puccini where Giacomo Puccini lived, worked and is buried.

Holidaymakers who would like to hear opera as Puccini felt it should be heard, should contact Wimco who are able to organise these much sought after tickets to the festival on behalf of clients. Tickets are from €26 to €95 per person.

Wimco still has availability on a number of properties near Torre del Lago during August; from the six bedroom Villa Chiodo at £3,330 per week to the six bedroom Villa Calandrina at £6,400 per week. The latter is set in a 17th century restored palazzo, complete with ancient frescoes and original features. Both villas have swimming pools.
