If you are hoping to improve your golf swing while vacationing in Anguilla, you may be surprised to learn that the island only has one golf course. In true Anguilla fashion, however, this isn’t just any golf course — it has some of the most sought after tee times in the world.

The Greg Norman signature design 18-hole championship golf course at CuisinArt Golf Club offers a truly unforgettable Anguilla golf experience. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a weekend warrior, there are plenty of options for you to have a day of golf that you will be bragging about for years to come.

CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa was selected to host the 4th annual Great Golf Resorts of the World Annual Meeting in November 2016. PGA professionals distribute directories of the world’s exceptional golf resorts to all of its members around the globe — CuisinArt is one of only three Caribbean resorts selected for membership.

What You Need to Know About the CuisinArt Golf Club

Stepping onto the golf course at CuisinArt can be described in one word: dramatic. From the breathtaking views of St. Martin and the Caribbean Sea to the lush tropical greenery to the expansive 7,063-yard course — it’s unlike anything you have ever seen before.

In planning the course, major efforts were made to preserve the stunning natural environment. The Merrywing Salt Pond, known to be an Anguilla landmark, had its water renewed and new flushing channels added to allow seawater to flow from the pond during high tide. This pond is truly a stand-out feature on the course.

Your memorable Anguilla golf experience begins at the very first hole, which Robb Report referred to as, “The Caribbean’s answer to the 18th at Pebble Beach.” The 390-yard starting hole is known for the fairway which Greg Norman describes as descending “over 40 feet to a narrow, two-tiered green sitting precariously on the edge of a saltwater lagoon.”

Golf rates are currently available for now, through April 30, 2016. They are slightly lower if you opt to stay at CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa as a guest during your time in Anguilla.

  • 18 holes: $275 (CuisinArt guests) or $299 (public)
  • 9 holes: $170 (CuisinArt guests) or $200 (public)
  • Twilight: $170 (CuisinArt guests) or $200 (public)
Twilight is after 1 p.m. and includes unlimited golf until dusk
  • Junior (up to age 18): $115 (both CuisinArt guests and public)

Golfers who would like to play the course with an instructor are also able to do so. The rates are the same for both CuisinArt guests, and the general public. 18 holes with an instructor costs $435, while 9 holes with an instructor costs $285.

Though the course is championship caliber, golfers of all skill levels are welcome to play. A practice facility is available with practice tees, practice fairway, practice bunkers, putting green, and chipping green. For 2016, it is only $15 for unlimited practice and $25 with club rentals.

High-quality rental clubs and rental shoes are available for all golfers.
