St Thomas Hunt For Holiday Cheer
Dec 14th at 1:00 p.m., Active Island Tours & Events will host the Hunt for Holiday Cheer, a holiday-themed scavenger hunt sponsored by Cruzan Rum, Fat Turtle, Hooter's, Mojo's and Melee Media. Costumed participants grouped into teams of 4-6 and travel the island on foot performing ridiculous tasks in a race against time. Once the time is up, festive attendees will dash into Fat Turtle for an after party featuring complimentary Cruzan Rum cocktails (one per person), awards, prizes, and music.
St John - 14th annual vow renewal
Say "I do" again at the 12th annual Celebration of Love Valentine's Day Vow Renewal ceremony, 5 p.m. at Trunk Bay Beach on St. John.
March 31st - St john Transfer Day
Commemorate when the Danish West Indies ceded to the United States from Denmark, thus becoming the U.S. Virgin Islands, with cultural music and dance presentations at the Museum and Library Archives open house in the Estate Whim Museum.
4th - St john Independence Day
Calypso musicians, colorful mocko jumbies, and a lively parade are the main ways St John celebrates both the United States Independence Day and the last day of its month-long Carnival celebrations on the Fourth of July. This day also features the crowning of Ms. St John and the carnival king as well as a fireworks display rivaling many in mainland United States cities.
