Beaches in St. Tropez
Only a few km from St. Tropez and covering a distance of just over 3 miles, this beach is long enough not to be crowded, despite the large numbers that come here to sunbathe, swim, and relax. There is a promenade next to the beach filled with beachfront bars, cafes, and gift shops. The waves are usually calm , crystal clear, and there are many different access points to the beach with car parks.
Plague de Grimaud Beach
Situated close to the town center, with beach facilities including parking, toilets, showers, lifeguards, and sun-loungers, as well as many bars and cafes. This beach is gently sloping with shallow waters. There are windsurfing and kayack hire available.
Gigaro beach is renowned in the area for its long, sandy beach and can be reached by a foot path. There are three beach restaurants, a self service shop, and beach bar.
A less crowded beach six miles south of St. Tropez on the Cap Camarat. It is a mix of pebbles and sand and can be accessed via an unpaved road. There are beach facilites including toilets, showers, lifeguards, and watersports. This beach is private, secluded, and may be used by nudists. It is a mid-size, free access beach with a large adjacent car park.
Located on the bay of Pampelonne in the center of the Riviera, Nikki Beach is an exquisite location and a favorite vacation destination hosting one of the most renowned party scenes in St. Tropez. A large number of restaurants and lounges are nearby. Great for swimming, scuba diving, and surfing. Easily accessible by cab or bus, as parking is full most times. The environment here is tranquil and serene.
