Italy Villa BRV MAF Description

Distant from the chaos of the more popular sites of the Capri island, Mafalda is on the street to the famous Blue Grotto, Villa Mafalda is strategically positioned to have wonderful and breathtaking views of the Ischia Island and the Mediterranean Sea.

It was built by a German aristocrat and dedicated to his wife, a descendent of the Italian Royal Family. In a very secluded and private position, rooms are decorated in the typical Caprese style, which include local tiles and white washed walls. Bronze and marble statues are set in different places on the property.

Although there are no beaches on Capri as it has a rocky coastline, there are beach clubs equipped with sunbeds, showers, swimming pools (at some) changing rooms and access to the sea for swimming.

DISTANCES: Anacapri center - 10 mins. on foot, Capri - 15 mins. by taxi and/or bus, Tennis: Capri Center and Naples (Harbor of Margellina) - 50 mins. by boat.

Electricity, air-conditioning in upstairs sitting room, water and final cleaning included. Telephone and fax charges extra. There is a morning house keeping service and Italian breakfast 5 days a week. Any additional maid, laundry or ironing service is €15 per hour. A cook is available for €15 per hour. Guests may arrange a welcome dinner for €30 per person, including wine. A babysitter is €15 per hour. The central heating cost is NOT included (charge depending on usage). Since there are no rental cars available in Capri, transportation is provided by bus (VERY frequent, dependable and clean) or by taxi. Once in Capri, you can make arrangements with a local taxi driver to be available to you during your stay.

This villa sleeps 8 people.

Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

The security deposit is €1,500.00 due in cash or traveler's checks upon arrival.
