Mexico Villa MIT RCC Description

The home is located just a couple of feet above the secluded white sand beach, Casa Clara is in Ranchos Estates, part of the prestigious Punta Mita resort located where the Pacific Ocean meets Banderas Bay, and just forty minutes to Puerto Vallarta airport. Indoor/outdoor living at its finest with over 13,000 sq. ft. built up area, with 3 fountains, separate bedroom bungalows set in a fantastic mature tropical garden with exceptional privacy.

Taking up the whole of Ranchos Estates lot 6, the Casa Clara property has 182 ft of beach frontage facing due south on Banderas Bay, with a side yard running over 400 ft and having an area 60,000 sq. ft. Fully enclosed with its own private gate, the gardens include a dry desert area with exotic specimens, various hibiscus, ginger and haliconia beds, and over 10 types of palms including more than a 100 large coconut palms. A full sized bar in the palapa covered lounge area with large infinity pool and spa overlooking the sea.

The 5 bedrooms all have 15 ft ceilings, overhead fans and flow through ventilation to enjoy the fresh ocean air and the sound of the surf. All are equipped with air-conditioning and large fully appointed bathrooms with outdoor style showers.

The modern kitchen with Viking and Miele appliances includes scullery, walk-in cold-room, and espresso/cappuccino machine. Adjacent outdoor BBQ and eating area as well as the living, dining, kitchen and media rooms are on the beach garden level to enjoy sunsets and separation from pool level.

The villa is decorated throughout with earthy Mexican marbles, and tropical wood-working; accessorized with fabulous Mexican custom furnishings, folk-art; paintings and sculptures from well known area artists.

There is satellite TV in the Media Room and Master Bedroom. BOSE stereo and iPod wired throughout the principal rooms, pool area, and 3 master suites. Wireless hi-speed internet, plus a desktop computer, Vonage telephone for no-charge contacts back home, an underground treatment plant and cisterns to treat all waste water for irrigation use are also features of this beautiful property.

Safety is a priority with security guards on duty 24/7 throughout the common gated area of Ranchos Estates and along the beach.

Four mountain bikes, table tennis, and 3 kayaks [one double] are available on site. Great locality for bird watching, sundowner time and Moonlit nights. Sunset views overlook the sea from the palapa/pool and all other rooms except the media and casita. The sunset can also be admired from the beach-front garden area. Spectacular moonlit nights with subtle artificial lighting of the palms reflecting off the pool are yours to enjoy in the tropical evenings.

Property rentals include preferential tee times and a special greens fee rate (if the owner has an active club membership for rental guests to enjoy access) and use of the Residents´ Beach Club (subject to prior reservation and availability).

Concierge Services include pre-arrival itinerary planning, airport transfers, pre-arrival grocery shopping, in-house spa services, babysitting service, car rental arrangement, restaurant reservations, booking of tours and excursions, etc.

Dinner is served between 7:30 and 9 p.m by the cook and the houseman. Informal lunches are served under the pergola at 1:30 p.m by the cook. Breakfasts are self-serve and are prepared the day ahead and left in the fridge.

Rates do not include 16% Government Tax and 5% Service Charge.

There is a 7 night minimum stay, except for during Christmas/New Years, when the minimum stay is 14 nights.
