Full Description

This beautiful property is located in a very panoramic position in the southern part of Tuscany, only 15kms from Montepulciano and 15kms from the town of Cortona, known not only for its beauty, but also as the setting of the famous book "Under the Tuscan Sun," by Frances Mayes. The surrounding countryside is a typical picture of Tuscany and from the property uninterrupted views over the rolling hills can be enjoyed both in the day and at night.

The accommodation consists of two terracotta-brick farmhouses, not interconnecting with each other, being the perfect setting for family reunions, or giving the possibility for a large group to holiday together yet retain their own privacy. The new English owner has recently bought and completely restored the original farmhouse to a very high standard, furnishing the interiors with all modern comforts, such as high speed wi-fi connection, video and stereo, along with a computer at clients’ disposal, yet retaining a typical Tuscan atmosphere. The large swimming pool (14 x 7 m) is situated in a very sunny area of the flat lawned garden where there is also a changing room and a guest bathroom. The owner has recently added a tennis court in synthetic surface. The British house manager is available for suggestions and assistance. On request, she can arrange cooking services, as well as Italian lessons, for her guests at Casale del Pino.

DISTANCES: Centoia (nearest village) is 1.5kms, Montepulciano is 15kms, Cortona is 15kms and the nearest motorway exit is 18kms.

There is deposit upon check-in of €250 for the telephone. Extra maid service, a chef, heating and telephone available for an additional charge. All of these 'a la carte" services are paid locally with Euros and the prices are subject to change.

This house accommodates up to 16 people

Security Deposit €1,800.

Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday only.
