WIMCO Villas
Just back from St. Barths
In Part II of our St. Barths update, our Marketing Editor shares thoughts on her recent trip and lunchtime restaurant recs. Plus, more reviews from clients who just got back, kudos to our concierges, and what's re-opening soon. (Missed Part I? Read it here).

TRIP REPORT
St. Barths Over the Holidays
"As someone who loves the hustle and bustle of New Years, I wasn't sure what to expect from St. Barths this year. Instead of shuffling from restaurant to restaurant, I read two books, walked in to restaurants without reservations, and genuinely relaxed."

"Pictures have a hard time capturing how magical this house is. Reading on the chaise lounges overlooking Marigot Bay is so peaceful. Each room, beautifully appointed, has luxurious linens, outdoor showers, and American outlets. Every detail has been considered."  Heather W., Marketing Editor, arrived Dec. 23

WHERE WE ATE:
Lunch Options
In Part I, we shared our thoughts on the dinner options. But what about lunch on the beach? Regular St. Barth goers have become accustomed to lunch out - from the delightfully relaxed Sante Fe, to a buzzy lunch at Cheval Blanc. The hurricanes hit lunch time restaurants the hardest. Here are our Editor's picks.
WE ALSO LOVED...
The endive salad and gazpacho at Le Repaire pre-shopping in Gustavia...Picking up chicken brochettes and lentil salads (and definitely chocolate chip cookies) at Maya's To Go and Kiki et Mo...having an epic cheese burger at Eden Rock's pop-up on Lorient...the hike to Colombier followed by spring rolls and grilled spiny lobster at Annie's La Langouste.

"We truly enjoyed this much needed break. We found the villa very comfortable and both the location and view perfect. We are happy to see all the progress and the continuing hard work going on. In Gustavia, the shopping was amazing and the food heavenly, as always."  Ana R., arrived Nov. 19

"The view from our deck is even more exciting than the WIMCO photos.  The music festival (we were fortunate to have just made jazz and opera nights) was especially special.  My wife and I are so happy we are here. Please share my thoughts with any of your clients who are having second thoughts. Even after a destructive hurricane St. Barths is still magnificent." Ed S., arrived Jan. 19

"We wanted to give you a giant thank you for recommending this villa - we absolutely loved it for this visit. It was great being just a few minutes from the bakery, the marche, and Gustavia. We lived at Shellona :) It is exciting to see that the island should be in full force next season!!"  J.T. & Robert, arrived Dec. 28

"The view is better than any photo. The terrace is roomy and so nice for watching the harbor and island activity. Happily, St. Barths is recovered. It is just a special place. We look forward to spreading the word." Susan M., arrived Jan. 15

Rave Reviews for your Island Conicerges
"Our concierge, Jules, went over and above our expectations - from assisting with airport transportation and car rentals to dining reservations, chef, massage, and scuba bookings...and even delivered a fan when I asked for one to cool off the bathroom after using the hairdryer." Cindy J.

"Moe was an excellent concierge, always answering my texts virtually immediately and accommodating all our requests." Nancy B.

"Antoine was an amazing concierge and he should get credit for the manner in which he took care of us. Really superb–and I don't say this often." Miguel F.
