VILLAS FOR COUPLES AND FAMILIES

"Villa Klairan was my absolute favorite when I last visited. The house is beautifully done and very comfortable, with no shortage of lounging areas. The gorgeous trees perfectly frame the distant sea view. Darwin, our butler, was fantastic. He, along with the chef, did everything to make us feel welcome and special."

VILLAS FOR FRIENDS AND GROUPS

"Villa Crystal Springs is an absolute piece of art - stunning. This villa (with three al fresco dining areas) is great for large groups or a special occasion. The interior, designed by Oliver Messel, is decorated with the perfect blend of nostalgic pastels and white. I love the combination of old and new."

Where to Eat
RESTAURANTS IN BARBADOS

"From the villa staff curating flavorful meals upon your arrival to the local food scene, Barbados is a foodie excursion. Expect meals centered around locally grown produce and seafood, like flying fish and plantains. The best part? The island has a perfect mix of elegant, white-cloth dining and beachside, barefoot chic spots."

A BEACH FOR EVERY MEAL
Barbados Restaurants Barbados' "Bajan" cuisine is a melting pot of African, European, Indian, Portuguese, and Creole influence. Start your day with a blend of British and Caribbean eats at The Fish Pot (try their Full English breakfast). Enjoy the magical backdrop of what was once a classic Barbadian home, a Barbados staple, The Tides (their pan-fried flying fish starter is a must). Partake in "out-of-this-world fish tacos" (as Suzanne calls them) from Relish. And end the day with a rum sour in hand and sunset at The Lonestar Hotel.

What to do
ACTIVITIES IN BARBADOS

"Barbados is a large island, rich in history, and very British in culture. Local traditions still include afternoon tea, cricket, and driving on the left side of the road. It boasts gorgeous beaches, unique animals and plants, and the classically tall palm trees so reminiscent of the 'old Caribbean'. Be sure to put Speightstown (formally settled around 1630) and the surfing paradise of Bathsheba (located on the less developed East coast) on your list of places to see. Top off your day with a sunset Catamaran cruise. Rum punch optional!"

WANDER WILDS BY LAND & SEA
Barbados Activities
Spend the morning spotting monkeys and flamingos at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Swim in the saltwater pools of the Animal Flower Caves. Snorkel, kayak, or paddleboard around the artificial reef of Folkestone Marine Park and Museum. Simply looking to unwind? Bring your favorite book and sip on something refreshing from the beach bar at Mullins Bay Beach.

PLAY LIKE A PGA CHAMPION

While well-loved for its white-sand beaches, Barbados is also globally renowned as a golfing mecca. Brush up on your golf swing at the famous Green Monkey course at Sandy Lane (don't let the coastal view distract you). Next, visit the 18-hole course at Royal Westmoreland Golf Club. As the day comes to a close, stop by for a well-deserved rum tasting at the Mount Gay Rum Visitors Centre.
