Anguilla Villa
Good news - Anguilla is reopening! In a joint statement on May 6, Daniel-Selvaratnam, Anguilla's governor, and Ellis Webster, the country's premier announced a two-step reopening plan for tourism. All travelers will be required to provide proof of vaccination in advance and provide a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than 5 full days prior to the arrival date.

Effective May 25, visitors may enter, and quarantine in place for 7 days, however, travel to and from certain restaurants and activities is permitted.
Effective July 1, visitors can move freely about the island with no restrictions. We caught up with WIMCO Villa Specialist Suzanne and WIMCO Editor Heather to talk all things Anguilla.

VILLAS FOR COUPLES AND FAMILIES

"The villas here are unequivocally some of the best I’ve ever seen—anywhere. Unlike St. Barths, usually all of the rooms are under one roof. They almost feel like houses in the Hamptons or Nantucket (minus the shingled roofs). The color of the water here is distinct—beaming bright light blue, almost Bahamian. It’s a color that stays with you, and no doubt beckons you back."

VILLAS FOR FRIENDS AND GROUPS

"Villa Kandara in Anguilla certainly vies as one of my favorite villas that I’ve ever seen. It’s position on the West End is so exquisite—you feel like you’re at the edge of the earth. There is a sunken outdoor living room which overlooks your own private swimming cove."

ROMANTIC EVENINGS
Anguilla Restaurants
With cuisine rivaling the scene on St. Barths, it is no surprise that Anguilla is host to a bounty of dreamy seaside restaurants. Start your night at Sandbar for a happy hour rum punch and an unobstructed view of Road Bay. Take in the view of Barnes and Meads Bay while you enjoy perfectly grilled fresh lobster at SALT. Lastly, treat yourself to a crème brûlèe trio of coconut, vanilla, and thyme in the breezy treehouse setting of Veya Restaurant.
BITES FOR EVERY TIME OF DAY

Consider yourself an early riser? Begin the day with Le Bon Pain's seriously addictive cafe au lait and a fresh-baked pastry (like savory? Their quiches are a must-try). For lunch, head to Maundays Club, the perfect Peruvian hideaway to enjoy a bit of ceviche and a well-sourced rum list (hot tip: make sure to try their crispy shrimp with Andean Cereals). To cap off the evening, grab dessert at Blanchards Restaurant and Beach Shack - their carrot cake is too good to be missed.

ACTIVITIES IN ANGUILLA

"Anguilla is a great beach destination and place for watersports. There is also plenty to do off the water, like golfing and tennis. Biking is great as well as, unlike other islands, Anguilla is flat. "

A SUNBATHER'S PARADISE
Anguilla Activities
If the foodie scene doesn't keep you busy, the beaches certainly will. Looking for a social atmosphere? Enjoy lively concerts at Sandy Ground. Stay close to local restaurants at Shoal Bay East. Go for long, romantic walks on Rendezvous Bay where scenic bars remain close by. Want something more remote? Visit the secluded Sile Bay Beach for calm waves and snorkeling. Go cliff jumping at Crocus Bay or sunbathe with a view of St. Martin at Cove Bay.
FUN BY LAND & SEA

Take in the view of St. Martin and the Caribbean Sea as you tee up at
Temenos Golf Course at Cap Juluca. Practice your swing with your own personal instructor at the Anguilla Tennis Academy. Explore life below sea level with private or group diving trips to Limestone Reef. Hop on the Chocolat, a 35-foot catamaran, for a day trip to Prickly Pear and Sandy Island.
