Anguilla Trip, part II

Here is a recap of our second day in Anguilla – our move to St. Martin – We checked out of Villa ANI yesterday morning and were picked up by our old friend, Wendell. We started with a visit to IDP MRI, a perfect 3BR villa with ocean access and short walk to a sandy beach.  This villa has a lot of availability next winter because the guests who used to rent it for 3 months in the winter are now too old to travel. Next we saw Villa LHE BLE, a 10BR villa on large estate with beach access, fully staffed.  The place is truly amazing– I think it is the best villa I have ever visited. We also visited LHE IND next door which is currently under renovations… once completed it will be on the same level of quality of LHE BLE.

Our next appointment was Viceroy– seems to be a popular spot for honeymooners.  We visited a standard king, a junior suite, a 1 bedroom suite, a townhouse and a penthouse.  The hotel is the largest on Anguilla with 188 rooms, 3 pools, 5 restaurants and two beaches. We left Anguilla on a 5pm ferry on Calypso charters for St. Martin. We picked up a rental car on our way to Villa C AZO.  Nice 5b villa, large pool and distant ocean views. Dinner at La Cigale last night, feet in the sand on Nettle Bay.
