From Jets to Villas: Jay Sapovits Continues to Cater to High-End Clients in New Position as VP of Sales for Wimco

Just hired as VP of Sales for WIMCO, the private villa rental company for the Caribbean and Europe, Jay will be leading the sales effort as the company continues to meet the demand for the private and personalized villa vacations. In his role as Vice President for Marquis Jet, Mr. Sapovits opened the Boston office for the startup private jet company with the Chairman and CEO. From 2001 through 2006 Mr. Sapovits personally generated more than $50 million in revenue.

Throughout his career, Mr. Sapovits has shown a passionate ability to identify market opportunities. Mr. Sapovits’ career highlights include creating the most successful single-day special event to the PGA Tour, The Exelon Invitational hosted by Jim Furyk. Mr. Sapovits actively sold over $2 million in sponsorships and procured top PGA Tour stars including David Duval, Jesper Parnevik, Joe Durant, Nick Price, Lee Janzen, Sergio Garcia, Davis Love III and Justin Leonard.
