“Why I Love to Travel” Contest Winner Announced!

After receiving tons of amazing responses from our contest asking people why they love to travel in 20 words or less, we are proud to announce the winning response submitted by J.P. of Brooklyn, NY.  Her submission captured the essence of travel best- “Traveling for pleasure is like hitting the reset button, it helps me reconnect, relax, and refocus on what life is really about.”

J.P. will receive a pair of VIP reserved-seat tickets to the annual Pops on Nantucket, featuring Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops, on Jetties Beach August 14^th. The tickets include access to the VIP pre-concert cocktail party and the post-concert reception.

Pops on Nantucket benefits the Nantucket Cottage Hospital and will be hosted by Katie Couric. WIMCO Villas is a lead sponsor of the event, and will be giving away a complimentary week in one of its two bedroom villas on St. Barths in a raffle during intermission. The gates open at 4 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m.

The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display on Jetties Beach at 9 p.m. A good time will be had by all.
