Can You Travel To Italy, France and Greece this summer? Covid19 testing requirements for travel to Europe.

Can US residents travel to Italy in the summer of 2022?

YES! Italy is open to US residents, without restricion.  Effective June 1st, 2022, US citizens can enter Italy without proof of vaccination, and no test or proof of recovery is required.

Can I enter Italy if I am NOT vaccinated?

Yes. As of June 1, 2022, US residents are allowed to enter Italy without restriction.

 

What Forms Are Required to Enter Italy?

Good news. As of June 1, you will not be required to fill out any EU or Italy entry requirement forms.

Can US residents travel to France in the summer of 2022?

YES! France is open to US residents, as long as you can meet the entry requirements. As of June 1 this is what is required to enter France

  • Proof of being fully vaccinated . If you have a CDC Vaccination card showing that you are fully vaccinated then you can enter France this summer. Per WHO guidelines,  the date of final vaccine dose needs to be more than 14 days old at the time travel. Accepted vaccines are Pfizer-BioNtech, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, and AstraZeneca
  • If you are fully vaccinated, you do not have to provide proof of a negative antigen test
  • Completion of sworn statement declaring that they are not suffering from any Covid-19 symptoms and haven’t been in contact with any confirmed cases in the 14 days prior to travel.

Can I enter France if I am NOT vaccinated?

YES!!  Non-vaccinated travelers can enter France if they can provide the following items:
  • Negative Covid-19 test result ( PCR test result taken within 72 hours or an Antigen test result taken within 48 hours pre-departure)
  • Additionally, France added a requirement for booster shots on February 1. Now, in order to be considered fully vaccinated, adults ages 18 or older must have received an mRNA booster dose no later than nine months after the original final dose of your series.
  • Completion of sworn statement declaring that they are not suffering from any Covid-19 symptoms and haven’t been in contact with any confirmed cases in the 14 days prior to travel.

What Forms Are Required to Enter France?

Good news. You are NO LONGER required to submit any EU or French forms to request entry into France.

Can US residents travel to Greece in the summer of 2022?

YES! Greece is open to US residents, as long as you can meet the entry requirements. As of March 1, 2022 this is what is required to enter Greece.

  •  As of May 1, the country of Greece ended the requirement to show proof of Covid vaccination or recovery to enter the country
  • You do not need to produce a negative antigen test result to enter Greece
  • Likewise, proof of vaccination/recovery is no longer needed for entry into certain indoor spaces like museums, sporting venues or theaters.

Can I enter Greece if I am NOT vaccinated?

YES!!  Non-vaccinated travelers can enter Greece without restriction

What Forms Are Required to Enter Greece?

Good news. You are NO LONGER required to submit any EU or Greek forms to request entry into Greece.
