The Caribbean Rum Awards in St Barts is now in its fifth year!
This culinary arts event has become the region’s most exclusive celebration of artisanal rums from the Americas. The event has found a friendly home in St. Barts, the culinary capital of the Caribbean. Most of the rum tastings, rum seminars, and special dinners are run out of the Quarter Kitchen on Rue General de Gaulle in St Barts’ capital city of Gustavia.
Each year, a team of judges from Caribbean distilleries, international spirits magazines, and vendors of fine spirits eagerly travel to St. Barts to judge a hand-picked selection of the Caribbean’s best rums, including “Uber-Premium” categories of rum and rhum agricole that include the most expensive rums on the market.
Rum afficianado Christopher Davis plays host to all Caribbean Rum Awards tasting events at his celebrated Rhum Room in Gustavia, where you can find the largest selection of fine Caribbean rums on earth, including the world’s largest selection of Caribbean rhum agricoles.
Those lucky enough to travel to the Caribbean Rum Awards in St Barts in November, 2022 will enjoy rum cocktail workshops, seminars on rum production, rum tastings and special rum and food pairing dinners at the Quarter Kitchen.
