This site carries out rapid antigen tests, at a cost of 40 euros per person. It is located in the parking lot in front of the cemetery (across the street from the airport runway). Individuals are required to present official identification to be tested (EU identity card or passport). Antigen test results are usually available in under an hour.

This site also offers COVID-19 PCR tests, which cost 135 euros, payable by credit card. PCR test results are usually available in 24-48 hours.

However, people who are symptomatic or who have had COVID-19 previously will need to ask for the PCR test.

2. In-Villa Testing Program

Your WIMCO concierge can schedule in-villa rapid antigen testing in the comfort and privacy of your villa.

The cost is 100 euros per person, payable by credit card.

3. Pharmacies – Walk-In Testing Service

There are two pharmacies in St. Barths that offer rapid antigen testing on a walk-in basis. In St Jean, you will find the pharmacy in the open-air mall across the street from the airport, near the WIMCO concierge office. In Gustavia, you will find the pharmacy at the opening of the harbor, by the ferry terminal office. Both offer testing during standard business hours during weekdays.

The cost is 50 euros per test, payable by credit card

4. BioPole Medical Clinic on Rue Pitea in Gustavia

Gustavia Testing Site

This testing site is located near the Collectivite building (island government offices). This site is not open to visitors at this time. Residents can schedule an appointment to be tested. Tests are processed by BioPole and results are typically available in less than 24 hours. Appointments can be made at covid19sbh@biopoleantilles.com. Phone number is as follows: 0590-29-75-02.

5. Collège Mireille Choisy in Gustavia

Recommend parking in the parking lot at the nearby hospital.

Staying in St Barths for more than a week?

If you are staying on St Barths longer than 7 days, you will be asked to be tested a second time. The most convenient option for this is the rapid antigen test site in St Jean.

Returning to the US? A COVID-19 test is required for re-entry

Effective January 26, passengers on all international flights to the U.S. will be required to present proof of a negative COVID-19 test in order to board the plane.  The U.S. will accept both PCR or rapid antigen tests, as long as the test was taken no more than 72 hours prior to departure. Please note, if you have had COVID-19 in the past, you will most likely test positive for COVID-19 when using the Antigen test method. In that case, you will need to provide proof of the negative PCR test you got after you recovered.
