Villa Fontanelle, also known as SAL FON is a 5-bedroom villa in Tuscany, located 9 kilometers west of Montalcino. Villa Fontanelle is situated in an area renowned for its beauty and wines, especially the famous Brunello di Montalcino.

Surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, and cypresses, the property enjoys spectacular views of the surrounding hills. The house has recently been restored and furnished by the owner, a well-known Italian interior designer. The house has been featured in several magazines and books, including House and Garden, Elle Décor, and Tuscany Interiors.

The rooms have been painted in warm yellows and terracotta, which blends perfectly with the brick-tiled floors, exposed beams, and sunny open spaces. The magnificent living room with a vaulted ceiling opens to the rear of the house, which has a pretty terrace with vines, flowers, and views over the countryside. Located off this terrace is a covered dining terrace, also with wonderful views.

This house sleeps 10 people. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Two bedrooms have 4-poster, king-size beds. Two additional bedrooms offer double beds, while 1 bedroom is furnished with twin beds. Set approximately 50 meters from the main house is a separate guesthouse, which has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people. The guesthouse is available at an extra cost upon request.

A deck with loungers and umbrellas surrounds the swimming pool. This villa also comes with a barbecue, a washer, and fireplace. Heating and telephone services are available for an additional charge. A security deposit of €1,300 is required. Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday only.

The Italy trip was fantastic. The villa was something out of a dream and just gorgeous. We had more room than we could ever use. The bedrooms were all as advertised and the bathrooms all different but each had essentials and worked flawlessly. The best thing was the housekeeper who we hired to cook for us and were rewarded with each meal being better than the last. She is a gifted chef. She shared stories and kept us smiling. We even changed some trip plans to just enjoy the villa. Some of us went swimming in the pool! It was like the first swim of the summer. Thank you for the recommendation
