Villa Machiavelli, also known as BRV MAC, is a 10-bedroom villa in Tuscany, located 19 kilometers from the Santa Maria Novella Train Station.

Central to the estate is the magnificent 16th-century main villa. Once the home of the Machiavelli family and, centuries later, the Mazzei family, this villa boasts a rare heritage. The villa and its frescoes have been restored to their original magnificence, and combined with opulent new interior décor with art pieces ranging from 15th-century antiques to contemporary South African sculptures.

The main villa has 5 upstairs suites, one of which has an extra bedroom and bathroom. Two suites and a master suite are located downstairs. Two bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds, while 8 bedrooms have king-size beds. Two bathrooms feature Jacuzzi bathtubs. The suites lead onto a vast frescoed terrace, overlooking the breathtaking Tuscan countryside with views of the Dome of the Cathedral and Giotto's Bell-Tower.

Nestled in the legendary winemaking “Chianti Classico” region, the estate reins more than 303 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and Tuscan forest. The property makes its own olive oil and fine wines. Villa BRV MAC has been featured in many magazines, including Vanity Fair and Food & Wine. This villa is perfect for weddings or other special events.

A lawn surrounds the large outdoor swimming pool. The interior also features an indoor pool, a wine cellar, gym, sauna, and library. This fully air-conditioned villa also comes with an elevator, a fax machine, helipad, heating, satellite TV, high-speed Internet, and WiFi. A private executive chef can be arranged to prepare meals. Villa Machiavelli can be rented on a daily basis. This villa may be rented with a neighboring villa, which offers 18 suites.

The Italy trip was fantastic. The villa was something out of a dream and just gorgeous. We had more room than we could ever use. The bedrooms were all as advertised and the bathrooms all different but each had essentials and worked flawlessly. The best thing was the housekeeper who we hired to cook for us and were rewarded with each meal being better than the last. She is a gifted chef. She shared stories and kept us smiling. We even changed some trip plans to just enjoy the villa. Some of us went swimming in the pool! It was like the first swim of the summer. Thank you for the recommendation
