Villa Federico, also known as BRV FED is an exquisite 6-bedroom stone villa with two separate buildings (with private entrances) tucked into the rolling, verdant hills of Tuscany.

Approach the 3,000 sq. ft. property via a winding, country road, and feast your eyes on the undulating countryside, lush olive trees, surrounding lavender, and quiet charm. This villa features high ceilings, tiled Terracotta floors, neutral tones, expansive windows, and an array of antiques that delight the eye.

Villa Federico’s bedrooms are divided between the four-bedroom main house and two one-bedroom annexes. The main house has two bedrooms with queen beds, two with twin beds and one with a French bed; all have ensuite bathrooms and several have jetted tubs as well. Each annex has a queen bed (or two twin beds), ensuite bathroom and kitchenette, and one has its own jetted tub. With their separate, private entrances, the annexes could be used as honeymoon suites or in-law retreats.

Villa Federico offers an escape from the ordinary and an entry to the sublime. While away long afternoons at the swimming pool (6 x 12 m), dine al fresco on the patio, or in the BBQ area or pergola. The property is just steps from the rolling Tuscan hills; hike daily or use complimentary mountain bikes (limited number). For further pampering and relaxation, the famed therapeutic thermal spring spa is just a walk away. Later on, wander down the road to a charming local bistro that offers regular tastings of local wines.

DISTANCES: Cetona is 8 miles, Orvieto is 23 miles, Siena is 58 miles, Florence is 87 miles and Rome is 98 miles.

The Italy trip was fantastic. The villa was something out of a dream and just gorgeous. We had more room than we could ever use. The bedrooms were all as advertised and the bathrooms all different but each had essentials and worked flawlessly. The best thing was the housekeeper who we hired to cook for us and were rewarded with each meal being better than the last. She is a gifted chef. She shared stories and kept us smiling. We even changed some trip plans to just enjoy the villa. Some of us went swimming in the pool! It was like the first swim of the summer. Thank you for the recommendation
