This bright and colorful gingerbread cottage is perched high on Bordeaux Mountain, offering incredible views over the eastern coast of the island.

There’s a laid-back, cool vibe throughout the home, with kitschy Caribbean décor and plenty of vibrant colors. Spread over two levels, the views from everywhere are enticing, the entire home is cooled by the island trade winds.

Villa Esprit enjoys a fantastic location that’s ideal for exploring St. John. Within minutes you could be lounging on a pristine North Shore beach, wading into some of the most tranquil waters in the Caribbean. In the other direction is the village of Coral Bay, just a 5-minute drive, leaving you free to dip in and out of the action at your leisure.

Living Spaces: The comfortably furnished great room is home to the living room, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen. Bright and spacious, it’s a fun gathering point for your stay.

Soft and colorful sofas and armchairs provide a relaxing spot to unwind in the living room. Whether you’re relaxing with a morning coffee or some conversation with family and friends, this is a great location.

Kitchen and Dining Room: Next to the living room is Villa Esprit’s kitchen, offering everything you’ll need to self-cater during your stay. The concierge service can even organize a grocery delivery, or for a special occasion, a private chef.

Between the living room and kitchen is the dining room table, with seating for up to six guests. To pair your meal with the breathtaking island views, there’s also a dining table on the covered terrace outside.

Bedrooms: The 3 bedrooms at Esprit Villa are spread across the home to ensure privacy between guests.

A small staircase leads to the master bedroom with a four-poster king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom with an indoor shower. The second bedroom, which is located just across the hall, has twin beds that can be pushed together to make a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower.

The third bedroom is on the pool level downstairs, with a double bed, ensuite bathroom, and an outdoor shower around the corner near the pool. This bedroom is ideal for a teenager or a single adult.

Outdoor Features: Kicking back and enjoying the views and gorgeous Caribbean weather is the only order of the day at Villa Esprit. Several shady verandas offer plenty of spots to unwind with a cool drink, dive into a good book, or simply doze off to the gentle island breeze.

Brush palms surround the downstairs deck, where you could spend all day floating around in the solar-heated swimming pool. When it’s time to dry off, loungers line the water and offer ideal spots to sunbathe.

There’s also a poolside fridge and tiki bar, letting you turn any relaxing day into a Caribbean pool party, shaking up a tasty rum cocktail and toasting to your island getaway.

For days on the beach, the North Shore is around a 10-minute drive. The sandy Maho Bay and Francis Bay are closest, both offering soft white shores fringed by palms and sparkling turquoise waters. Diving under reveals hundreds of sea turtles gliding through the water, while food trucks offer fresh, delicious food when you’ve worked up an appetite.

Amenities: Thoughtful design and details combine to make your stay at Villa Esprit incredible. This non-smoking property also has Wi-Fi, a library (perfect for book lovers), beach accessories, a gas grill, gated entry, and cable TV.

Please note that the villa rates exclude a 12.5 percent government tax and a $50 security deposit waiver.

Villa Esprit in St. John comes with mid-week house cleaning services – contact your villa specialist for more details. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
