Villa Golden Pavilion, also known as MAT GOL, is a contemporary 5-bedroom villa located in East End within minutes of the beach and shopping. Overlooking the ocean from a 4-acre promontory on the northeast shore, this villa has an Asian-Indonesian style.

A pagoda-roofed portal leads into the courtyard with a lily pond. On the ground level, the great room separates the 2 air-conditioned wings. This central room has hand-carved pillars, an ornate Balinese daybed, and French doors that open onto the outdoor covered dining terrace, which seats 10 guests next to the pool and hot tub.

The professional kitchen has granite counters, custom cabinetry, and stainless-steel Viking appliances. A staircase off the great room leads to the gallery with a sound system, satellite TV, billiard table, and wet bar with mini-fridge and icemaker. The gallery is furnished with sofas and chairs surrounded by windows facing the view. A family room, home office, and powder room are also located in this wing.

Located on the east wing are 2 bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and screened French doors that open to a terrace. The main hallways leads to a study and master bedroom suite, which has a 4-poster king-size bed, sitting area, dressing room, and large bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub, his-and-her vanities, and an indoor and outdoor shower. French doors open to a terrace above the pool deck with sea views. Nearby is the fourth bedroom, which has a queen-size bed.

Just off the main villa is the air-conditioned cottage pavilion, which has a well-equipped gym (with satellite TV) and small patio on the ground level. Upstairs is a 1-bedroom apartment with a king-size bed, full kitchen and living area.

The tiled deck surrounding the infinity-edge pool has chaise lounges, hammock chairs, cushioned teak seating, a gas grill, and a nearby stone fire pit. Paths thread through tropical landscaping to a bench overlooking the ocean. This non-smoking house also has beach accessories, snorkeling gear, and WiFi.

The estate manager lives in a nearby property and will assure your privacy while providing for all of your needs. A minimum 7-night rental is required during the HIGH SEASON and 5 nights during the LOW SEASON for most Caribbean villas. However, a 7-night minimum at full Thanksgiving rate required on all rentals which occur during any portion of the Thanksgiving holiday week.

This villa requires a $2,500 security deposit.

Villa Golden Pavilion, or MAT GOL, comes with house cleaning services. Ask your villa specialist for detail. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.Photos compliments of Don Hebert.
