Villa Ilaria, also known as BRV ILA is a 6-bedroom villa set on a beautiful estate just a mile away from Palaia, a charming village between Pisa and Florence.

The restoration of the property was recently completed and it is composed of two separate country houses next to one another. Both houses enjoy breathtaking views of the typical Tuscan landscape. The main villa and the annex are both on two floors and have a common contemporary style with some traditional pieces and architectural details, such as wood beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, which bring warm touches to the spaces. The main attractions of Villa Ilaria are the high end finishings and amenities that provide the utmost comfort.

The living room features beautiful large fireplace and a soft neutral color palette, selected for the upholstering of the comfortable sofas and armchairs, which is counteracted by the vibrancy of the original brick arched ceiling and the terracotta floor to create a welcoming atmosphere.

The dining room accommodates up to 12 people with its generous table. From this room you can enjoy great views of the valley. A spacious, gourmet kitchen with double ovens, American size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven and a center island with an additional sink.

The Game room provides a card table, an abundance of books, and a variety of board games, including chess and dominoes, a flat screen TV and a PS3. Laundry room with washer and dryer at guests’ disposal.

In the annex is a bright and airy living room with plush upholstered sofas, flat screen TV, and stereo. This room boasts dazzling views of the outdoor landscape. Fully-equipped eat-in gourmet kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, built-in refrigerator, and microwave.

The spacious and elegantly furnished patio is enjoyable informal dining al fresco with beautiful views of the valley. Generously manicured verdant lawns are a perfect space for children to play. Barbeque and wood burning ovens available for pizza nights in the comfort of your villa. Private infinity edge swimming pool (12m x 6.5m) with sun beds, lounges and shades.

Villa Ilaria’s units are perfect for large groups of friends or multi-generational family gatherings. Conveniently located in short distance to the nearby village where you can find groceries, butcher, gas station, takeout pizza, sundry store and several good restaurants. On the premises, the estate has a vegetable garden which provides seasonable produce – ask the gardener to pick some for you!

Reservation Tip – the owners of private villas in Europe prefer Saturday to Saturday rental dates. You’ll have more options if you can arrive on a Saturday. Ask your WIMCO villa specialist for help arranging flights, trains and car service.

The Italy trip was fantastic. The villa was something out of a dream and just gorgeous. We had more room than we could ever use. The bedrooms were all as advertised and the bathrooms all different but each had essentials and worked flawlessly. The best thing was the housekeeper who we hired to cook for us and were rewarded with each meal being better than the last. She is a gifted chef. She shared stories and kept us smiling. We even changed some trip plans to just enjoy the villa. Some of us went swimming in the pool! It was like the first swim of the summer. Thank you for the recommendation
