Villa Fortlands Point on the Beach, also known as VL FPB, is a 9-bedroom villa located in Discovery Bay within a short walk of the beach and shopping. Once the site of an old stone fort, this property sits on the tip of a peninsula with a magnificent view of the bay.

Textures of teak, cedar, Italian tile, and Persian rugs complement the dramatic architecture. The comfortable veranda is complete with a black granite bar, icemaker, satellite TV, and 5 open-air dining areas. Inside is the formal dining room, which has a 100-year-old, 12-ft. mahogany heirloom table.

Each air-conditioned bedroom has a Norstar intercom and ensuite bathroom with shower. The master bedroom has a custom-designed, king-size mahogany bed, a day bed, a tub and shower, and French doors leading to a furnished terrace. Four of the bedrooms have king-size beds, one has 2 double beds (ideal for children) and one bedroom has a queen-size bed. The upstairs sitting room offers large surround-sound television, DVD player, balcony and sea views.

A deck with loungers surrounds the infinity edge pool and hot tub. Seven old cannons dot the 2-acre grounds, which features 2 swings, a set of rings, a slide, and a mini-tree house. A new 4-hole synthetic putting green is located next to the sea. Across the lawn is the indoor glass-backed squash court. The adjacent mirrored fitness room includes a universal weight machine and elliptical cycle in a breezy space with a sea view.

Named one of the best villas in the world by Islands magazine, this non-smoking villa also comes with 2 portable cribs, a high chair, games, a hammock, helipad, snorkeling gear, a sea kayak, staff quarters, a computer, and WiFi. This property is wheelchair accessible and permits a dog to roam free across the lawn.

Villa Fortlands Point on the Beach, or VL FPB, comes with house cleaning services. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
