Villa Linga-Awhile Cottage on the Beach, also known as VL LAC, is a 3-bedroom cottage located in Discovery Bay. This cottage shares a waterfront site with its sister property, VL CCV.

VL LAC was featured in the June-July 2012 issue of Caribbean Travel & Life magazine. The living room is furnished with cushioned sofas and opens to a dining area. Beyond the lawn and swimming pool is a white beach with 2 thatched roof umbrellas for shade. Dining areas are also located on the open-air patios and at a picnic table area on the beach.

Each air-conditioned bedroom has cable TV. The master bedroom has a king-size bed or twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower combination. The second bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower combination, and 2 queen-size beds. The third bedroom is equipped with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom with a shower only.

A lawn with a hammock surrounds the pool, which has a swim-up deck and floating bar. The grounds also feature a floating sunning platform, gazebo, and seaside shower. This villa, which has a handicap access, also comes with a barbecue, WiFi, and complimentary sea kayaks.

This villa may be rented with sister house Coral Cove Villa which shares this large property and adds 5 more bedrooms for a combined compound of 8 bedrooms, 2 pools, 9 staff and double outdoor amenities and water toys.

If one group rents both villas, all may dine together. If two different groups are in residence, meals are served inside, on individual open-air patios at each villa, or on picnic tables at the beach. The cooks will plan torchlight beach parties with chicken, chops, steaks, lobster or fresh fish served sizzling from the two outdoor grills.

Villa Linga-Awhile Cottage on the Beach, or VL LAC, comes with house cleaning services. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the cottage rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
