Villa Great River House, also known as VL GRH, is a 5-bedroom villa located in Montego Bay within minutes of the beach and shopping. Set on 5 acres of gently sloping land and surrounded by manicured lawns, this villa is completely fenced and entered through wrought iron gates.

Built in 1956 by a member of the Dupont family and renovated by modernist architect Tom Reed, this property features state-of-the-art technology, including WiFi and cable TV. Locally crafted mahogany furniture complements the designer fabrics. Artwork by George Rodrique and famous illustrator Arthur Taylor adorns the walls.

The chef’s kitchen is well equipped, while the air-conditioned dining room offers a view over the infinity edge pool. A second dining area is located outside on the 2,400-sq.-ft. pool terrace.

All 5 bedrooms have mahogany floors, fine linens, quiet remote control air conditioning, ceiling fans, and iPod docking stations. The bathrooms feature Kohler fixtures, wall sprays, and rain tile showers. A flower-filled side courtyard with an outdoor shower offers a unique hideaway for spa treatments upon request.

An expansive stone terrace surrounds the large, saltwater serpentine pool with an infinity waterfall edge and divided shallow children's pool. Royal palms, citrus and pimento trees are illuminated each evening on the property, which features a hard-surface tennis court and a spacious grassy lawn with badminton and croquet. This villa also comes with a generator, fire pit, snorkeling gear, a wet bar, and WiFi. Guests receive complimentary Round Hill membership..

Villa Great River House, or VL GRH, comes with house cleaning services. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
