Surrounded by gardens, Villa YPI GIU enjoys a partial sea view. This Neapolitan-style villa dates back to the early 17th century and was once the home of Baron Monti Della Corte. The present owner restored the historical residence and retained its original character. Steps ornamented by columns lead through the garden up to the main entrance. Flower displays, a peacock-blue pool, and century-old trees are hidden amongst the flora. The spacious lounge features arched ceilings, large windows, paintings, chromatic lighting, and a large sofa upholstered in blue velvet. This floor made from ancient hand-painted tiles spans from the living area to the dining room, which opens to the winter garden. The dining room houses a glass-topped table with seating for 10 guests and combines with the kitchen, which is accessible to the staff only. Steps ascend from the ground floor to the 5 bedrooms in the main villa. Two more bedrooms are situated in the garden annex. Each air-conditioned bedroom has an ensuite bathroom (1 with a large Turkish bath crafted in Scagliola, 1 with a plunge pool, and 1 with a sky-lit Roman bath with shower). Each bedroom offers different antique décor, including frescoed walls, a Marchigiana bookcase created by artist Erica Capone, and an 18th century Venetian bookcase. The winter garden receives ample sunlight through its glass walls. The garden is furnished with white sofas, providing an ideal lounge area. A deck with loungers surrounds the pool.
