Both views are even better from Villa Sandpiper’s rooftop terrace, accessed by a spiral staircase on the master bedroom’s balcony. Offering panoramic views of Providenciales, it’s the best spot in the house to watch the balmy and colorful Caribbean sunset with an aperitif.
Outdoor Features: As you step outside, the private plunge pool is the perfect spot to cool off. If you’re seeking some sun while on vacation, you’ll love the comfortable sunbeds positioned right next to the pool.
It’s hard to resist the gentle call of the turquoise ocean though. Steps lead you from the villa right down onto Grace Bay Beach, where you can languish on the white sand or wade into swim and snorkel.
A strip of rock lies between the sand and water, part of the offshore coral reef system. Once you’ve stepped over the rocks, they disappear to reveal a soft, sandy bottom with amazing snorkeling at Smith’s Reef just offshore.
Amenities: Staying at Villa Sandpiper in the Caribbean means you’ll want for nothing. There are ceiling fans throughout the house, a washer and dryer, and fast Wi-Fi. There’s also a mid-week cleaning service.
Air conditioning is available throughout the entire villa, although you’ll rarely need it thanks to the cooling trade winds that sweep over Providenciales. To discourage use while the windows and doors are open, guests are given an allotment of $150.
