From the moment you arrive, it’s easy to slip into the slow pace of life on St. John. The bright blue exteriors give way to a cozy interior, with rustic wooden accents, white walls, and luxurious furnishings. Completing the home are ocean-themed artworks and décor, creating a breezy and enjoyable island home.

Perched in the hills above the bay, Villa Ballena Blue enjoys a great location on St. John. Within easy driving distance are the shops and restaurants in the village of Cruz Bay, while the pristine beaches of the North Shore are also within a short drive.

Living Spaces: A gorgeous great room faces the ocean, home to the living room and dining area. Ceiling fans overhead keep things cool, while the rattan chairs and wooden furnishings enhance the island vibe.

The living room is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the trade winds, gazing out at the ocean views. Soft white sofas offer a comfortable place to kick back during your stay, relax, and enjoy a drink.

Kitchen and Dining Room: The kitchen at Ballena Blue is attached to the great room. Well equipped with beautiful cabinetry and high-end appliances, it’s a great setting to whip up delicious meals.

Bedrooms: The 3 bedrooms at Villa Ballena Blue are tranquil and relaxing, ideal spots to recharge after a day lounging by the pool. Each has its own spacious ensuite bathroom, flat-screen TV, and private balcony area.

Bedrooms one and two both feature a plush queen-sized bed, promising a beautiful night’s sleep. The windows overlook the tropical garden, offering privacy, peace, and quiet.

The third bedroom has one king-sized bed, and one queen. The large space is great for a small family or kids.

Outdoor Features: The terrace outside the great room offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the gorgeous weather. There are loungers for sinking in with a good book or enjoying a snooze, while a small dining table is a great spot for a fresh lunch. Next to the table is a gas grill, letting you host island-style cookouts as well.

For days at the beach, it’s as easy as jumping in the car and driving for a few minutes. The sand at Great Cruz Bay is just 5 minutes away, while the pristine North Shore is around a 10-minute drive.
