Villa Hortus, also known as BRV HRT, is a 5-bedroom inside an enchanted garden on the outskirts of beautiful Siena. This stunning three-story property is surrounded by a majestic manicured garden, conceived by a renowned landscape designer and is nestled between the medieval city of Siena and the unspoiled Tuscan countryside, Each room has been painstakingly curated, wisely marrying the old with the new, featuring a mix of classic design and whimsical decorations collected by the owner from all over the world. This stylish retreat is very grand in a relaxed, comfortable way, with a definite wow factor.

The social spaces are two living rooms, two dining rooms and other available areas occupy the entire ground floor of the villa and show many treasured antiques, family heirlooms and more current objects by famous designers.

One of the living rooms has walls covered with late 18th-century boiserie that comes from a Parisian hotel. A professional grade uber-modern stainless-steel kitchen, able to satisfy the needs of the most demanding chefs, and a guest bathroom complete the floor.

The private wellness area with Technogym equipment and Pilates Reformer, yoga mats and massage bed is located on the 2nd floor along with a laundry room and private staff quarters.

Beside via an internal staircase, all floors can be reached by elevator.

The annex features a comfortable spacious living room, with a picture-window overlooking the stunning landscape, features an XXL screen, perfect for private screenings. A complete small kitchen is also at guests disposal should they prefer being independent at times from the main house kitchen.In the villa garden, the generous pergola seats up to 18 people for dining alfresco with the lights of Siena in the distance. Under the dense canopy of the evergreen trees enjoy the bucolic atmosphere, or a picnic sipping your favorite Tuscan wine. Guests are welcome to help themselves to the private orchard and vegetable garden.
Reservation Tip – the owners of private villas in Europe prefer Saturday to Saturday rental dates. You’ll have more options if you can arrive on a Saturday. Ask your WIMCO villa specialist for help arranging flights, trains and car service.

    The Italy trip was fantastic. The villa was something out of a dream and just gorgeous. We had more room than we could ever use. The bedrooms were all as advertised and the bathrooms all different but each had essentials and worked flawlessly. The best thing was the housekeeper who we hired to cook for us and were rewarded with each meal being better than the last. She is a gifted chef. She shared stories and kept us smiling. We even changed some trip plans to just enjoy the villa. Some of us went swimming in the pool! It was like the first swim of the summer. Thank you for the recommendation
