Insiders tip about your Passport – make sure your passport will still be valid at the time of travel (it should be valid for at least six more months on the arrival date). Please note that US Passport Renewals take longer to process now, so plan ahead. Most Caribbean islands are requiring that the traveler have proof of vaccination to enter the destination. Most are no longer requiring a negative test result. Please note: Even if you have been vaccinated, you will be still required to get tested in order to enter most destinations, and to wear a mask in public buildings once there. We recommend using COVID-19 testing centers run by the state you live in, or affiliated with large hospitals and university medical centers such as Weill Cornell Medicine in Manhattan, Yale New Haven Health centers in Connecticut, and Tufts Medical Center in Boston. If you do not have access to rapid antigen testing, you may want to order an at-home antigen test. Here are two at-home remote medical observation nasal swab antigen testing options. Tests are self administered, under the video supervision of a lab technician to verify your identity and the results. samples are uploaded to a lab via a cassette connected to your wifi network, or via a visual method. St Barts covid travel FAQ
1) Is St Barts open for tourism now? Yes
2) Do I need to provide proof of a recent negative PCR or Antigen test result to enter St Barts? If vaccinated, no. If unvaccinated, yes.

If you are traveling to St Barts through St Martin, you will need to register for approval to enter St Martin / Sint Maarten no more than 72 hours prior to arrival. The travel approval website is called EHAS, for Electronic Health Authorization System.
Travelers are required to enter information confirming flight info, country of residency proof of vaccination, local address when visiting, and passport information.
EHAS Update – Effective March 1, 2022 – FULLY vaccinated travelers, and children 17 and under who have been vaccinated, do not need to submit a covid test result when filling out the EHAS form.
Children under 18 who are not vaccinated are required to submit a negative PCR or an RT-PCR test that is no more than 48 hours old at the time you arrive in St Martin.
Once you complete the EHAS pre-trip registration and submit it, they will then send you a confirmation email authorizing you to enter St Martin. You will need this email in order to board your flight to St Martin.
Purchase of $30 medical insurance policy is required in order to complete the EHAS registration – however, those not spending the night in St Martin are exempt from this requirement.
DEPARTING TRAVELERS please note, you will also be required to submit a request to enter St Martin on your returning flight. Travelers 17 and under who are unvaccinated must submit a negative PCR test, no more than 24 hours old upon arrival.
There is a test center outside of the airport terminal which administers rapid antigen tests. However, please note that a traveler has to clear security to leave the airport, then upon being tested, one has to got back through security screening again. This can take 2-3 hours.
If you are traveling to St. Barts through San Juan, and you are not spending the night in Puerto Rico, you do not need to complete the online travel request form required for travel to Puerto Rico. The same is true when you are transiting back through San Juan on your way home.
If you are spending one or more nights in Puerto Rico, you will need to complete the Travel Safe Puerto Rico registration form, which requires proof of vaccination or proof of a recent PCR test.

St Martin is open for tourism.
Prior to departure, travelers are required to fill out a travel entry request form for entry into St Martin. The online registration site to request entry into St Martin / Sint Maarten is called EHAS, for Electronic Health Authorization System. If you are FULLY vaccinated, you are no longer required to submit a covid test when filling out the EHAS forms.

Upon arrival, travelers will be allowed to proceed to their hotel or villa, unless they are showing signs of being ill. In that case, they will be tested on-site. Travelers showing no signs of illness, and those who test negative at the airport, are then free to roam within a defined tourism coastal district called the Resilient Corridor which stretches from Negril to Montego Bay and on to Ocho Rios.

All travelers planning a trip to the USVI aged 5 and older must register to enter at the USVI Travel Screening Portal prior to leaving home. Requirements:
– Negative test result from a Covid 19 PCR test or Antigen test using a nasal swab, taken no more than 72 hours prior to arrival
– Antibody tests are not accepted
– No proof of vaccination is required
Clients with a negative test result can enter the U.S. Virgin Islands, and they are free to move about the island as long as they agree to wear a mask when arriving when they enter a local business, and to practice good social distancing when out in public. There is no quarantine for people who produce a negative test result.
When returning from the Virgin Islands to your home country.
– to the U.S. – All Air passengers aged two years and older flying into the US for foreign countries are required to get a viral test (a PCR or Antigen test for current infection) no more than 24 hours before their flight back to the U.S. While the USVI are part of the US, it is still recommended that travelers get tested prior to their return. This is to ensure that a traveler doesn’t unknowingly infect people while traveling back to the States, and also to avoid any quarantines that individual US states have in place for travelers coming into the state who have not been tested. The Riviera Maya coast is open for tourism. There are no testing requirements for vacationers visiting the Riviera Maya are including Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, and Tulum. However, we do advise all travelers to get tested before they travel so they can be sure they do not have the virus.
Health Authorities at the airport will be doing random temperature screening to confirm that vacationers are not showing symptoms. The Dominican Republic is open for tourism, including the areas of Cap Cana, Punta Cana, and Casa de Campo. Public Health minister Rafael Sánchez Cárdenas stated that there are no requirements for entry to the Dominican Republic, no testing is required. However, we do advise all travelers to get tested before they travel so they can be sure they do not have the virus. Upon arrival at the airport, 10% to 15% of passengers will be spot-checked using a paid antigen test. Results are available in minutes.
Once the client arrives at their villa, clients are free to move about the area as long as they agreed to wear a mask when they enter a local business and to practice good social distancing when out in public. There is no quarantine when visiting Cap Cana, Punta Cana, or Casa de Campo.

Mustique Island covid travel FAQ

Getting vaccinated is recommended but not required
The island of Mustique is open for tourism. To enter the country, a traveler is required to produce a negative test result from a Covid 19 PCR test using a nasal swab, taken no more than 120 hours (or five full days) prior to arrival. This test result needs to be sent to WIMCO and to [email protected] as soon as it is completed as this allows time for pre-clearance protocol.
Once a test result is obtained by the client, they need to visit St Lucia Travel Authorization site, or the Barbados Travel Authorization site and set up an account and complete the questionnaire
The Mustique Airport (MQS) is open to international flights. Getting to Mustique is still straightforward. Where possible, guests should fly to St. Lucia where they can then board a Twin Otter flight to Mustique. It is also possible to fly to Barbados or St. Vincent. Mustique is currently operating flights on demand from these islands. Please note: that all passengers traveling on the local air shuttle whether arriving or departing Mustique will be required to wear medical-grade masks (these masks will not be provided). Once on the island of Mustique, masks are not required.
There are no COVID-19 cases on the island. The restaurants, tennis courts, activity centers, and common areas will be open with social distancing policies in place.
Testing on Mustique. In an effort to maintain a safe environment on the island, all passengers will be tested upon arrival on Mustique, at the cost of US $100 each. This test is to ensure the virus was not contracted during the transit period to Mustique. Guests are asked to self-isolate in their villas until the test results are sent to them (in 24-48 hours). Anyone testing positive on the PCR test will be placed into mandatory 14-day quarantine at their villa. Bahamas covid travel FAQ

The Bahamas are open for tourism. Effective May 1, all travelers who can provide proof that they are fully vaccinated, with the final shot being more than 14 days prior to arrival, may enter the Bahamas without restrictions. Travelers wishing to enter the country need to visit the Bahamas Tourism Health Visa portal and upload their proof of vaccination. They will get an “approval to enter” letter via email.
Unvaccinated travelers will still have to comply with all of the country’s pre-testing and testing requirements, including applying for The Bahamas Travel Health Visa, proof of a negative test taken no more than five days prior to arrival, and rapid antigen testing if they’re staying in The Bahamas for longer than four nights and five days.
There is no quarantine for visitors. All travelers are asked to respect social distancing protocols and the use of masks in public spaces when moving around the islands. If staying more than 4 days, a second rapid test is required after 4 days to ensure no virus was contracted during transit.
Private Island Resorts in the Bahamas – private island resorts in the Bahamas are open for tourism this season including Kamalame Cay, Musha Cay, Over Yonder Cay, and Fowl Cay.

The British Virgin Islands are open for tourism. All travelers who can provide proof that they are fully vaccinated, with the final shot being more than 14 days prior to arrival, and who produce a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than five full days prior to travel, may enter the BVI without restrictions. Fully vaccinated travelers do not have to pre-register for permission to enter the BVI.
Unvaccinated travelers 18 and older need to provide proof of a negative PCR test no more than five days old. The test results need to be uploaded to the BVI Gateway Online Portal. Once their request to enter has been processed, they will get a BVI Gateway Traveller Authorization Certificate via email.
Travelers vacationing in villas or hotels in Virgin Gorda, Tortola, and the private islands of the BVI must also have proof of travel insurance that includes coverage for medical expenses.
Private Islands in the BVI – private island resorts in the BVI are open. This includes Necker Island, Scrub Island, Oil Nut Bay, Moskito Island, Eustatia Island, Cooper Island, Guana Island, Jost Van Dyke, Buck Island, and more.

Barbados is open for tourism. All travelers with proof of being fully vaccinated may enter Barbados, and will not be subject to any restrictions on movement, or quarantines. Travelers must provide proof that they have received the second vaccine shot at least 14 days prior to their arrival date, and must take a Covid-19 test no more than 3 full days prior to arrival, and upload the results prior to arrival.
Travelers are asked to input their proof of vaccination and Covid-19 PCR test results into an app developed by the Barbados Health Ministry called BIM Safe.

Grand Cayman has postponed the date when travelers can visit the island without having to quarantine. The details can be found on the VisitCaymanIslands official website. A summary of the terms and conditions is noted below.
Starting on October 14, 2021
– Travelers of ALL AGES are required to produce proof of vaccination
– Plus proof of a negative Covid19 test, taken no more than 72 hours prior to arrival
– Then pre-register for entry via the Grand Cayman Travel Authorization website. Approved travelers must also agree to be tested at the airport upon arrival
– Travelers are then required to quarantine at their villa for 7 days, then be retested, before being allowed to travel freely around the island
Starting in January 2022
– End of quarantine requirement for vaccinated travelers
– Unvaccinated children (under age 12) will now be allowed to travel with vaccinated adult tourists
– no quarantine period will be required for unvaccinated children
– Unvaccinated visitors above the age of 12 will still be required to quarantine for 14-days
– Pre-registration will still be required for entry into Grand Cayman

Health Authorities will perform temperature checks for all arrivals, and ask them to complete a health questionnaire at the airport upon arrival, and then download a contact tracing app. Travelers will be restricted to their hotel and hotel grounds for the first 7 days of their stay.
For those travelers staying longer than a week, they will be tested again on day 7; if negative, they can book select excursions and access select destination sites. Travelers staying more than 14 days will take another test on day 14; if that’s negative, they are free to move around the island.

San Juan airport is open and accepting flights from North American cities. All travelers arriving at the San Juan airport are asked to present a copy of a negative COVID-19 test result. If travelers arrive at the San Juan airport without the requested test result documentation, they will be offered a rapid COVID-19 test (an antibody test) at the airport. Even if the test result is negative, it will be mandatory for the traveler to quarantine and cover their own medical expenses/possible extended stay.
