Talking grilled lobster, favorite views and more with St. Barths’ vet Bob Gagauf
We sat down with longtime WIMCO client Bob Gagauf to find out how he does St. Barths. The answer? Find a companion you love travelling with. The rest is easy.
The first time I went to St. Barths Gee, I don’t remember exactly–probably around 1986 or 1987, but this year will be our 21st trip. I used to be able to remember all the villas we stayed at by code, but there have been too many!
The last time I was in St. Barths Was November 2013
My vacation look is Casual chic
My favorite travel companion Angela Gagauf
The one thing you must try in St. Barths is Sante Fe

Grilled spiny lobster at Sante Fe, and Angela sipping her favorite Campari cocktail
The song that I’m currently overplaying “Talking” by Pat Metheny
The scent that reminds me of St. Barths After a summer rain
For breakfast in St. Barths, I have A croissant, yogurt, hard boiled egg and fresh fruit

Villa WV LUZ, in Camaruche
My favorite house I’ve ever stayed in Villa LUZ. A view to die for. I’m hoping that MEM replaces it as my favorite this year.

His & her sinks at Villa WV MEM
My favorite drink on vacation Cote du Rhone – slightly chilled, but Angela would say Compari club soda and grapefruit juice
