Villa Acamar is all about Caribbean living and being outdoors. There’s a breezy open plan that makes it seem like you’re outside and a range of luxurious island furnishings. Then, the Caribbean detail, like exposed wooden beams, earthy colors, and ocean-inspired décor. This is a sophisticated and elegant St. Barts vacation home.
Hidden on a hill overlooking the southeast coast of the island, Villa Acamar also enjoys peerless privacy. The beach at Grand Cul de Sac is a 5-minute drive, while it’s 10 minutes to St. Jean and 15 minutes to Gustavia.
Living Spaces: The open spaces of Villa Acamar’s interiors flow from one space to the next, connecting through vaulted ceilings above, large doorways, and a peaceful, earthy color palette. Across the main area of the home is enough space for your whole group to relax together or for each to find a quiet, cozy corner.
The spacious living area opens to both sides and features multiple seating areas cooled by the natural breezes. At the center is a pool table, while plush lounges look out towards the views, bathed in sunlight for most of the morning.
For those nights you’d prefer to stay in with your feet up, Villa Acamar also has an incredible home theater. There’s a large cinema-style projector screen and comfortable cinema seating as well.
Kitchen and Dining Room: A modern and clean design in Villa Acamar’s kitchen makes it a pleasure to prepare meals in the home. There’s an abundance of bench space and the latest appliances as well.
A curved breakfast bar makes for a comfortable spot for fresh coffee and eggs in the morning before heading out to the beach. The indoor dining table is next to a large floor-to-ceiling window, framing views of the large tropical plants outside and the ocean beyond.
There’s a second dining table on the outdoor terrace for even more immersive views with your meal, including fabulous sunsets and starry night skies above the island.
Bedrooms: The 3 bedrooms at Villa Acamar act as the ideal spaces to relax after a long day exploring the island. Plush and serene, you’ll wake up each day feeling refreshed.
The master suite features a U.S. king-sized bed and a private terrace overlooking the ocean. Then, there’s the full-sized dressing room and spacious bathroom with his-and-hers vanities, as well as a separate office space. A separate door leads directly to the pool for an early morning or midnight swim.
The second bedroom next to the master has a European king-sized bed and a private terrace. The ensuite bathroom in this room has both an interior and exterior shower.
Descending the spiral staircase to the lower level brings you to the third bedroom, also with a European king-sized bed. The open bathroom has a shower, and a private terrace leads you into the villa’s garden with the Jacuzzi.
Outdoor Features: The living area opens onto Villa Acamar’s large deck, with plenty of sun and shade for a day spent lounging outside. There’s the large, heated swimming pool, loungers for sunbathing, and the hot tub on the lower deck in a lush, tropical garden.
The entire terrace enjoys the natural sea breezes and stunning views over the ocean. Across the main level, the Sonos sound system extends outside, letting you soundtrack everything from a pool party to a relaxed sunset cocktail hour.
Amenities: Villa Acamar has a range of modern amenities that help enhance your stay in St. Barts. This villa also comes with Apple TV, a gas grill, the use of a private vehicle, a game and a fitness room, a ping-pong table, and Wi-Fi.
Villa Acamar in St. Barts comes with house cleaning services six days a week, except on holidays. During the December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used. This villa is suitable for children ages 10 and older.
