The interiors of Villa Byzance are stunning, drawing on influences from the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and more. The airy elegance of this St. Barts villa enjoys splendid design, with clean lines, vaulted ceilings, and gentle curves that complement the rugged beauty outside. With panoramic sunrise and sunset views, this is a fantastic choice for a stay in St. Barts.
With a desirable location above Colombier, Villa Byzance shows off one of the island’s more remote and quieter sides. Surrounded by cliffs and island greenery, the beach is a 10-minute drive, while the shops and restaurants of Gustavia are around 15 minutes by car. Private, luxurious, and exclusive, this is a sophisticated stay for island travelers.
Large, arched windows allow the natural light to stream into the living spaces, creating a serene environment. Natural and laid-back colors beneath the vaulted ceilings give each room a feeling of airy brightness, with a graceful flow to the open-plan layout.
At its center is the beautiful great room, spanning two pavilions connected via a covered outdoor terrace. On one side is the living room, a highlight of the villa with its low-slung and luxurious sofas and gently curving tables. It’s a wonderful spot to kick back and drink in the stunning views on either side of the home.
Stepping across the covered terrace brings you into Villa Byzance’s kitchen. State-of-the-art appliances make cooking here a breeze, while the views inspire. Our concierge could also organize a private chef for an evening or an in-villa wine tasting.
Next to the kitchen is the dining table, covered by the same vaulted ceilings although it feels as if it’s outside. The large doors immerse you in the Caribbean landscape alongside a meal, with the sunset casting rosy gold colors arcing across the sea and sky.
There are 2 luxurious bedrooms at Villa Byzance, located on either end of the living room and kitchen. Each room offers abundant space, with a small living space for some private downtime.
Both bedrooms come with a platform king-sized bed, a lavish ensuite bathroom, and outstanding ocean views.
Thanks to the incredible design of Villa Byzance, the indoors blend gracefully with the beautiful outdoor living spaces. The wooden terrace fits into the surroundings, anchored at one end with the rugged cliffs and surrounded by the Caribbean greenery.
There’s an infinity swimming pool, seemingly melting into the ocean beyond. Refreshing and cool, it’s a tempting spot to spend a day lounging, dipping in and out between sunbathing sessions on the loungers.
For larger gatherings, steps lead down to an outdoor lounge deck, with soft sofas for cocktail hours and a pre-dinner aperitif. A magical island sunset enhances those already breathtaking views, and there’s even a hot tub in the garden, a luxurious spot to spend a night stargazing, drink in hand.
