Creamy, contemporary interiors feature plush furnishings, while the outdoor spaces are wonderful for relaxing days spent lounging in the sun.
Perched on the hillside above St. Jean, Villa Coco de Mer also enjoys remarkable views over the north coast of St. Barts and the offshore islands. Stylish, private, and cool, a stay at this island villa also puts you within an easy drive of the beach at St. Jean and the wonderful restaurants of Gustavia.
Villa Coco de Mer is spread over two separate pavilions, joined by an outdoor terrace in the center. One of the pavilions is the main gathering point, combining the living room, dining table, and kitchen into one open-plan space. On either side, the room opens to the outdoor terrace; one overlooking the ocean, the other a private courtyard.
This living area is comfortably furnished, with air-conditioning to keep things cool. Sofas in front of a TV and entertainment unit offer a good spot to unwind, letting the island breezes wash over you as they blow through the open doors.
The gourmet kitchen at Villa Coco de Mer connects to the living room, providing the latest appliances for preparing meals. Next to it is an indoor dining table, nestled up against the window to enjoy the wonderful views over St. Jean below.
Stepping outside onto the oceanfront terrace also lets you dine alfresco, with another table here in prime position for a sunset meal. For a more casual setting, a smaller table is in the inner courtyard terrace area
The bedrooms at Villa Coco de Mer are in the second pavilion, set toward the back of the property and accessed via the inner courtyard.
The minimalist white décor is contrasted with bold splashes of red, and both rooms have elegant sitting areas as well. King-sized beds promise a wonderful night’s sleep, draped with white mosquito netting so you can sleep with the doors open.
Both rooms also come with a spacious ensuite bathroom with a shower.
Both bedrooms are accessed via the inner courtyard, a tranquil and beautiful area for relaxing. Immediately outside the two rooms is a covered terrace, furnished with lounges at one end and a small table at the other. There's a serene seating area next to the small waterfall feature.
Venturing onto the oceanfront terrace offers even more spaces to kick back – this time, with those alluring views. Whether you’re relaxing with a book or hosting an evening cocktail hour, plush lounges offer a comfortable spot to slip into the elegant way of life on St. Barts.
To the right, the large shared pool terrace is also tempting. You could easily spend a whole day slipping in and out of the water, sunbathing on the loungers, and gazing out at the shimmering Caribbean.
During the December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
