La Carette

Welcome to Villa La Carette (booking code: WV CAR), a colonial style 2-bedroom villa located in Lorient, St. Barts. This secluded property offers stunning views over Lorient Bay and the offshore islands of Île Toc Vers, Île Frégate, and Île Bonhomme.  

Surrounded by lush palms, cactus, and vibrant tropical plants, Villa La Carette enjoys peerless privacy.

Inside, that trend continues, with soothing hardwood accents, rattan furnishings, and cool terracotta tiles. A selection of tropical décor, from seashells to reclaimed glass bottles, enhances the island ambiance.    

Living Spaces: The main great room sets the tone for your stay at Villa La Carette. Dark wood furnishings complement the terracotta floors, while the entire space opens to the covered terrace. It’s a seamless blend of indoors and out, with plenty of classic Caribbean comforts.   There are several sofas and rattan chairs in the living room all facing towards the stunning ocean views. It’s an ideal setting to sink in and relax, with the sounds of the waves from Lorient beach below adding a pleasant ambiance during cocktail hour.

Kitchen and Dining Room: Next to the living room is La Carette Villa’s new, well equipped galley-style kitchen, making cooking here is a breeze. Our concierge can organize grocery pre-stocking or delivery, catered meals, or arrange private chef service for a special occasion.   On the covered terrace outside is a dining table, with seating for up to 6 guests. It’s a magnificent setting for dinner parties in the evening with a magnificent view of Lorient Bay.  

Bedrooms: The 2 large bedrooms at Villa La Carette are in a separate bungalow, accessed from the outdoor terrace. Each bedroom has a luxurious king-sized bed, promising a fabulous night’s sleep. Ceiling fans and air-conditioning keep things cool during the warm evenings.   La Carette Villa can also be rented along with nearby Villa Tortue (booking code: WV TOR) for a total of 3 bedrooms, and is only available at Festive.  

Outdoor Features: Life is best lived outside at La Carette Villa. The covered terrace wraps around the living room, with chairs overlooking the shimmering Caribbean. Kicking back here with a cool island drink and golden island sunset will quickly become a ritual.   Steps away, the inviting infinity pool stretches towards the edge of the terrace. Refreshing and inviting, we wouldn’t blame you for lounging in the water all day. Sunseekers will want to stake out a spot on one of the loungers lining the water. The only sounds will be the tide and the gentle breeze rustling through the surrounding palm trees.    

If you’re craving a day in the open water, Lorient Beach is just a few minutes away by car. This beautiful stretch of beach is calm and tranquil, protected by a coral reef offshore. Snorkeling, sunbathing, and swimming here are all divine. St-Jean is a few minutes’ to the west, while the quiet and understated Marigot Bay Beach is 5-minutes to the east.

Located above Lorient Beach, Villa La Carette is within minutes of bakeries, grocers, and the popular restaurant “Le Bouchon”.

Villa La Carette in St. Barts comes with house cleaning services six days a week (except on holidays). During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used. This villa is suitable for young children.
