Designed by the local team at Olivier Dain Perspectives, Villa Tainos stands out for its splendid design and attention to detail. Cool Cascais marble floors underfoot contrast with the beautiful wooden details, while contemporary concrete lines in the architecture lead out to the incredible views.
Spacious, private, and secluded, Villa Tainos is without a doubt one of the most sophisticated villas in St. Barts. With a location perched at the top of Pointe Milou, the property enjoys privileged views, including the famous St. Barts’ sunsets. The beach is a 10-minute drive, while shops and restaurants are 15 minutes away.
The main living areas inside Villa Tainos are completely open, light, and breezy, gracefully flowing from one space to the next. A great room combines the living area, dining room, and kitchen, while the bedrooms are more secluded, offering guests complete privacy.
The living room is a beautiful space, with large abstract artwork on the wall setting the tone. Vibrant and unique, this room is equally suited for a quiet day reading or entertaining family and friends. Exposed concrete beams in the ceiling give the great room an industrial-chic feel, tempered by a warm tropical décor.
Contrasting with that concrete is the elegant wooden cabinetry of Villa Tainos’ modern kitchen. Chic and elegant, there’s an unmistakable jungle vibe to this space, an idyllic spot to prepare meals. Our concierge can even organize a private chef for an evening, leaving you to relax and unwind with a cool drink at sunset.
The indoor dining table is elegant, made from beautiful wood, and with large, woven light fixtures overhead. Rustic, luxurious, and contemporary, it’s a fabulous setting for meals with family and friends.
From the open and bright living spaces, Villa Tainos leads you into the quiet and secluded bedrooms. Details like large wooden panel headboards, hand-woven light fixtures, and stylish décor make each room an oasis of calm and privacy.
Three bedrooms come with a king-sized bed, and one has a pair of twins that can be configured into a king upon request. All enjoy plasma TVs and have access to a luxurious ensuite bathroom.
The indoor spaces flow elegantly into the outdoor living areas, creating a large and spacious area awash with the island breezes. There’s a low-slung sofa here, ideal for lazy days reading or an indulgent afternoon nap while the palm trees rustle in the gentle wind.
The striking architecture continues to the terrace, running the length of Villa Tainos and bordering the main infinity pool and spa. There are chaise lounges for sunbathing, an outdoor dining table, and a beautiful lawn area.
All the while, the panoramic views over the ocean are incredible, facing out to the west. With the setting sun sending a rosy gold glow across the beguiling St. Barts coast and offshore islands, you’ll be hard-pressed to turn your gaze away.
During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
