The entirety of Villa Varuna is designed with earthy tones and natural wood, creating a peaceful, organic atmosphere. Dappled sunlight washes through the home, illuminating its clean design and superb attention to detail. Completing the villa are a selection of high-end furnishings, gorgeous vaulted ceilings, and breathtaking views over St. Jean Bay.

Nestled in the hillside above Eden Rock, Villa Varuna enjoys easy access to some of the island’s most spectacular locations. The beach, shops, and restaurants of St. Jean are a short walk away. Jumping in the car opens up even more of the island, with the stunning beaches and rugged headlands in either direction.

Living Spaces: From the parking area, a small green garden leads into the spacious, open great room. Divided into three sections, you’ll find the living area, dining table, and kitchen in one airy and bright space.

The living area is to one end of the great room, with comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV. The glass doors on the sea view side of the space slide open to welcome in the island breeze, gracefully merging the space with the outdoor terrace.

Kitchen and Dining Room: Villa Varuna’s gourmet kitchen has all the conveniences you’ll need to prepare gourmet meals during your stay. There’s a breakfast bar as well, letting you turn meal prep into a social affair with a bottle of wine and aperitif before dinner. Our concierge can also organize everything from wine tasting to a private chef for an evening.

The kitchen also features a separate storage section, which houses the refrigerator. Separating the kitchen from the living room is the villa’s large dining table with seating for up to 8 guests.

Bedrooms: There are 4 bedrooms inside Villa Varuna, spread across the home to provide peace, privacy, and quiet for guests.

Each bedroom comes with an ensuite bathroom, a TV with U.S. and French satellite channels, Apple TV, and a Sonos sound system.

On either side of the main great room are two spacious master bedrooms, both with a king-sized bed and generous dressing area.

Descending downstairs brings you to the other two bedrooms, the first of which has a king-sized bed. The fourth room features a queen and comes with a separate living area and kitchen, making it ideal for teenagers or staff.

Outdoor Features: There’s plenty of space in the sun and shade on Villa Varuna’s terrace for relaxing. Plush lounges and chairs surround the heated infinity pool, which enjoys ocean views.

Around the corner is an outdoor kitchen and grill, making it easy to entertain guests with an island-style cookout. At sunset, the outdoor terrace is also the best seat in the house to enjoy the golden hues unfurling across the sky, lighting up the turquoise waters of the bay below and offshore islands in the distance.

For a relaxed day on the beach, the shore of St. Jean is only a few minutes on foot. Pristine, beautiful, and tranquil, it’s the ideal spot for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing on the sand.

Amenities: Villa Varuna enjoys a suite of high-end amenities to make your stay as relaxing as possible. This St. Barts villa also comes with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, fast Wi-Fi, a Nespresso coffee machine, a Sonos sound system, and satellite TV channels.

Villa Varuna in St. Barts also comes with house cleaning services six days a week. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
