This spectacular property enjoys incredible sunset views and is within a short walk of the beach.

Francis Bay Estate is delightfully low-key and luxurious, draped in native stone and warm, island wood. The grand interiors are awash with elegant wooden furnishings, with stone tiling underfoot to keep things nice and cool. Inside, vibrant Caribbean colors, mahogany trim, and wooden floors complete the relaxing atmosphere.

Spanning over two levels, this gorgeous home is perched high above Francis Bay on the pristine North Shore of St. John. The villa is close to several beaches, while shops and restaurants in the village of Cruz Bay are within a 5-minute drive.

Living Spaces: The copper door entrance leads to the main pavilion, which features a great room decorated in an island plantation style with mahogany trim and wooden floors. Here you’ll find the living area, dining room, and gourmet kitchen with views of the Sir Francis Drake Passage. French doors open to the veranda with an ocean view.

The living room at Villa Francis Bay Estate features several plush sofas facing each other. Throwing open the doors lets the cooling island breeze wash through the house, while a cabinet hides away a TV for movie nights inside.

Kitchen and Dining Room: Villa Francis Bay Estate’s fully equipped kitchen is on the other side of the great room. High-end appliances and a spacious kitchen island make cooking here a pleasure. The concierge can even organize a grocery delivery, or for a special occasion, a private chef.

The dining room table is an excellent setting to enjoy a gourmet meal with family and friends. For those who prefer dining alfresco, there’s also a table by the pool. The views are gorgeous, overlooking a lush landscape rolling down toward the sparkling water in Francis Bay.

Bedrooms: With 5 bedrooms in Villa Francis Bay Estate, this property is an excellent choice for larger family gatherings or groups of friends.

There are two pavilions on the main level on opposite sides of the entrance. Each of these bedrooms has a luxurious king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom with a shower of natural stone, and glass sliders that open onto the terrace with ocean views.

There are three more bedrooms on the pool level. Two come with king-sized beds, while the third has a pair of twin sleigh beds. All these bedrooms are also ensuite and open onto the pool terrace.

Outdoor Features: The veranda on the second level extends the length of Villa Francis Bay Estate, with plenty of space to spread out and relax in the shade. There’s a lounge area for sunset cocktails, sunbeds outside the bedrooms, and a gas grill area for frying up fresh fish or succulent steaks.

At the pool level, the spacious brick deck surrounds the gorgeous swimming pool. Refreshing and cool, you could lounge in the water all day. Scattered across the terrace are plenty of loungers as well for those looking to sunbathe or relax to the breeze rustling the surrounding forest.

A path leads from the pool area down to Francis Bay Beach, one of the more private beaches on the North Shore. The white shore is lined with trees, offering shady spots to relax, while underneath the water’s shimmering surface is a wealth of marine life. Snorkeling and swimming here are rewarding – a true Caribbean paradise.

Just wanted to let you know our suite was perfect at the Francis Bay villa. What incredible views from this house!! So awesome for a large group. We all agree we need about another 5 days to take it all in.
