Important Travel Information for Peter Island Vacations

Arrivals

Before new arrivals even claim their luggage in the tiny, Beef Island Airport, a Peter Island representative will be waiting for them. As the resort's goodwill ambassador, she greets every guest with trademark Caribbean hospitality, helps with the bags and escorts them through the terminal and outside for a quick journey to the private launch. Waiting at the dock in his crisply pressed whites, Captain Flanders shows guests on board Islander IV where an on-board hostess takes over. After passing out cocktails, she checks in each passenger during a pleasant cruise to Peter Island.

Transfers

Round trip taxi and boat transfer to/from Beef Island Airport, Tortola and unlimited resort ferry transportation to/from Tortola for remainder of client's stay are included in the rates. The ferry takes approximately 30 minutes each way. St. Thomas transfers are available by reservation only and a charge of $25 per person, one way. These transfers are available on Tuesdays and Saturdays (January - March) and Tuesdays (April - December).
