It's truly a matter of personal preference as to which would be better for your stay. The Dutch side, St. Maarten, is more developed and more popular with vacationers. Choose this side if dining out at different restaurants, close proximity to casinos, and shopping are important to you. On the other hand, if your ideal vacation is gorgeous beaches and getting away from it all, you'll want to stay on the French side, St. Martin, which is known for its pristine beaches. St. Martin is also an excellent choice if you love fine French and French-influenced dining. Most of our clients pick the French side. The island is only 34 square miles, making it very easy to enjoy the amenities offered on both sides of this dual-nation island. There is no physical border between the French and Dutch sides of the island. So vacationers can travel freely between both sides of the island.

Yes. Before your vacation, your chef will discuss menu ideas with you. They will then use that information and details about any food allergies or sensitivities to shop for provisions for your villa. That way, your villa will be fully stocked and ready for you upon your arrival.

Most of our Special Reserve Collection villas do include laundry services. Other properties have housekeepers who can do your laundry for a nominal fee.
