Fall Restaurant Week September 27 through October 3
Start with a preview of what’s to come during Taste Nantucket! at the Great Harbor Yacht Club on September 26th. Sit by the harbor, sip champagne, and taste some of the finest samplings from Nantucket’s most renowned restaurants. Tickets are $100 and proceeds benefit The Nantucket Culinary Arts Foundation.
During the week, experience some of Nantucket’s best restaurants, and enjoy delectable entrees and exquisite wines served with Nantucket hospitality. Each participating restaurant will offer a special menu with three course dinners offered at $25 and $45.
The culinary week culminates on October 3rd at Cisco Brewery with the Junior Chef Competition, in which culinary students from the island compete to create the best three course meal for a panel of judges.

Nantucket Cranberry Harvest Festival October 10 Milestone Cranberry Bog
Enjoy the unique experience of watching a cranberry bog harvest as acres of bog are flooded and the bright berries float to the top of the water for collecting. Join in all the festivities which include hay rides, culinary classes, and music.

Christmas Stroll Weekend December 3 though 5
Nantucket during the holiday season is absolutely enchanting. Throughout the month of December, the island dresses up in its holiday finest, with magnificent tree and light displays. The Friday after Thanksgiving kicks off the month-long Nantucket Noel Celebration with the Chamber’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Community Caroling. The highlight of the month-long celebration is the annual Christmas Stroll Weekend, sure to put everyone in the Christmas spirit. Mr. and Mrs. Claus arrive via Coast Guard vessel as carolers dressed in Victorian garb and musicians stroll down the cobblestone streets. Visit the Nantucket Whaling Museum as it is transformed into a holiday wonderland with more than 70 trees decorated by local merchants, non-profit organizations, artists, and school children. Shop the charming store fronts and feel the warmth of holiday cheer.
