Location & Surroundings

The beach at Hotel Manapany

Hotel Manapany is next to the northeast-facing beachfront of Anse des Cayes Bay. This is a lower-radar beach with some beautiful, rugged knobs and hills as well as the wide-open, isle-dotted Atlantic on the skyline.

Although this windward bay is generally too rough for safe swimming, it’s beloved by surfers (and the hotel’s a great place to try your hand at surfing—more on that below!). The scenery’s spectacular, not in the least come sunrise.

The surrounding Anse des Cayes neighborhood has a warm, laid-back vibe. Kicking back here at Hotel Manapany, you’ll be just five minutes or so from the Gustaf III Airport by car, and under a 10-minute drive from the capital of Gustavia.

Amenities & Services

Spa Manapany

Hotel Manapany offers a five-star hotel experience with resort-style amenities.

Along with its on-site restaurant and bar, which we’ll get to later, among the foremost is Spa Manapany, which offers Dr. Hauschka treatments—massages, body wraps, facials, wellness sessions, and more—in a swoony tropical setting.

The spa’s pool—one of the two on the hotel grounds—is serene and reserved for adults only. Meanwhile, the nearby terrace hosts daily yoga and Pilates classes.

There’s also a hotel fitness center available, set up with Technogym equipment for all the guests who enjoy a good workout during a vacation.

The other hotel pool, open to all ages, comes with food and beverage service for maximum rest & recuperation. Service extends to the hotel beachfront, where you’ll find surf lessons on everyday offers.

Those trade winds and the coastline’s orientation here make Anse des Cayes Bay a great place to ride some breaks!

Hotel Manapany also runs a store offering upscale resort wear and island souvenirs.

Young and old alike will appreciate the boutique hotel’s pair of game rooms: one specifically for kiddos, outfitted with video games and such, and the other for adults, ready and waiting for a chess match or pool game.

Room Types & Quality

Hotel Manapany offers quite a spectrum of accommodations, from relatively minimalistic (but attractively modern) rooms to more spacious suites and villas. These well-appointed lodgings, defined by a “contemporary French design,” offer their own sundeck or terrace, with ocean and/or garden views, yours to enjoy.

Some sit directly on the Anse des Cayes beach, while others are tucked back in a tropical gardenscape.
